Dhamma Ahe Bhimrao Maza

Dhamma Ahe Bhimarao Maza is a musical rendition of our views about the true legacy of Dr. Ambedkar and the right way of leveraging it to uplift ourselves from the our individual, social and environmental misery. This song was written by me and my wife (Pratap Tambay and Prerna Tambay) while stuck in a car on western express highway during the rains of 26th July 2005. Somehow it reflects the sublime mental state we were in despite the surroundings - thereby making it most special for us.

English Meaning

For me Dhamma is Bhimrao himself, his path is full of peace and tranquility
Purity concentration, discernment love, O young man practice this dhamma
Bhimrao is now gone, Dhamma alone is our savior
Light your dhamma lamp, keep it lighted in the storm
Find your own road to liberation and be an inspiration to others and show them the road
Set your attention on education, this was baba's prime advice
Why are you seeing from far, this is your sangha, join up
First struggle and win your self, then struggle against others
Dhamma alone has Bhimrao, Nothing else has Bhimrao.
